It all started when I was looking for healthy snacks to feed my perpetually hangry toddler boy. I wanted something fun, shelf stable, and didn't have added sugar or preservatives. I discovered freeze dried fruit and I was hooked! Who doesn't love crisp, naturally good freeze dried fruit?!
When I looked into freeze drying using fresh, quality produce… I jumped all in! In true Aunt Meg fashion, I could not keep this to myself, but had to share with friends. Thus Aunt Meg’s was born!
My heart truly is with the freeze dried fruit, but I couldn't ignore how amazing freeze dried candy is... So we have that too! You really do have to taste it to believe it.
We started selling freeze dried fruit and candy in 2021. Now, you can catch us at local farmers markets, pick up a local order in Stuart, Florida, or I can ship right to your door!
